The UK-Ireland Digital Humanities Association is pleased to announce the first of our Regional Events. The day will be hosted by DARIAH-IE, Ireland’s national node of DARIAH (the pan-European Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities), at Trinity College Dublin.

This event will bring together a broad range of stakeholders, reflecting the strength of collaboration between the UK-IE Digital Humanities Association and the DARIAH-IE infrastructure.

The event is designed to:

1.  Foster engagement with DARIAH-IE and the UK-IE DHA
2. Provide the opportunity to meet, network and collaborate with DH peers.
3. Share knowledge across organisations and institutions engaged with digital arts and humanities work. 
4. Encourage participation in and involvement with the UK-IE DHA’s Community Interest Groups and DARIAH Working Groups.
5. Invite discussions on training needs, advocacy, and future events.

 Whether you are new to digital arts and humanities, or already an active member of the community, this is a chance to connect with colleagues from across the island and help shape the future of the UK-Ireland Digital Humanities Association and DARIAH-Ireland.

• 20 October 2026 – Call for Papers open
• 27 November 2026 – Call for Papers closes
• December 2026 – programme announced
• 11 January 2027 – registration opens
• 11 February 2027 – registration closes

We plan to have a quiet room (no meetings or calls please) for users to decompress in, please ask the organisers for more information if you are interested.
