Programme for 2024 Annual Event Announced

We’re pleased to announce the initial programme for the 2024 Annual Event, Inclusivity across Sectors / Uileghabhálacht Thar Earnálacha. More details about the event are available below and on our website.

Registration

The event will be held in-person at University College Cork on 4-5 June 2024 with portions of the event available to view online. The fee for attending the event in-person will be £35. Students, early career researchers and professionals, and independent scholars can attend at a discounted rate of £20. For those unable to attend in person, free online-only tickets are available. Register here – the deadline to register for in-person attendance is 5:00 PM BST on Monday, 20 May 2024.

 

Bursaries

The Association is pleased to announce an addition three (3) bursaries are available to support in-person attendance at the Annual Event. The bursaries are to make the event more accessible to those who would otherwise be unable to attend. Applicants do not need to have a paper accepted to apply.

The deadline to apply for this round of bursaries is 5:00 PM BST on Friday 19 April. Applicants will be notified of the results by Friday 26 April. Learn more and submit your application.

 

Accommodation

Discounted housing is available for the conference via University College Cork’s accommodation office. A number of rooms at a reduced price (€110) are available at UCC Crow’s Nest on a first come, first served basis. Conference attendees can email beds@ucc.ie directly and mention the name of the conference when booking. Additional information about places to stay is available on UCC’s website.
