Open call for three new members of the Association collective
In January this year, the UK-Ireland DH Association’s Governance Working Group published proposals for a phased approach to developing governance and membership structures. Ahead of a first open election for members of a reformulated Executive Committee in 2026, we are issuing an open call for new members of the current governing collective. Three members of the collective – Arianna Ciula, Lorna Hughes and Naomi Wells – will be standing down at the end of August and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their wisdom, imagination, commitment, collegiality and expertise. We are now looking for three people to succeed them in helping to shape the development of the Association. If you think this could be you, please submit a brief Expression of Interest via our online form by Friday 11 July. The term of office will be three years, spanning the transition from collective to Executive Committee. All EOIs will be considered by the collective, with a view to ensuring diversity of membership across our communities. We are aiming to make a decision before the end of August.
The current collective consists of: Giota Alevizou, Arianna Ciula, Jennifer Edmond, Paul Gooding, Lorna Hughes, Órla Murphy, Kristen Schuster, Justin Tonra, Charlotte Tupman, Naomi Wells and Jane Winters. If you have questions about what’s involved in being a member, any of us would be happy to talk with you.
